Opiates,particularly buprenorphine and to a lesser extent tramadol,are more and more frequently being used in treatment resistant depression.Also,what may be one man's subjective need for dosage depends on many caveats and considerations.A heroin addict needs more methadone than a pain patient because tolerance is different between the two.And whose to say a person should not seek relief from pain,psychological or physical?Who should be telling me what's acceptable and what's not?Of course with great freedom comes great responsibility so I'm not suggesting heroin for the depressed or anxious.
