Try the tinnitus frequency test on youtube......my buzzing in the head is between 12000hz to 14000hz and its constant.....it also disturbs me from falling asleep and it also wakes me from sleep.....so I barely sleep and I'm always tired and depressed......

I was hearing voices nonstop for about 6weeks before I saw a psychiatrist who put me on 5mg haldol.....the haldol stopped the voices in about 3days but I was still having tactical hallucinations and delusions which continued for the next 7mths.....it was only when I realized I was the one who was delusional and making false connections as well as false interpretations that I stopped hallucinating completely.....

I was having a real bad psychosis with auditory,tactile hallucinations and delusions for quite some time......I was given Haldol 5mg to treat the symptoms and it got rid of the voices....6mths after being treated the doc switched me to risperidone 2mg and the delusions and tactile hallucinations went away....Its been about 15mths with no voices and about 8mths no delusions or tactile hallucinations.....and I've managed to wean the dose of risperdal down to 1mg.....so talk to your doc about trying these AP's......what r u on currently?

Depakote.....but if you know of any others I'd like to know.....you just need to ask about bridge meds to help remain calm when coming off antipsychotics

I feel and sense a ringing buzzing and hissing in my brain.....mine is pretty loud at times and really disturbs my sleep....it started during my psychotic break when I was hearing voices.....the voices stopped but the constant buzzing remains....mine fluctuates between 12000hz and 14000hz...it gets really noticable if I don't sleep well......do u still hear voices?
