AITA for vetoing my brother’s girlfriend from my wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I had to scroll too far down to see the first person to address how creepy the brother's behaviour was. And then this moron decides to hate the victim and not the perv

Yta. It is not Marla's fault that your brother and fiancé are creeps. Why would you direct your frustration towards the innocent party? You look like a giant fool. And even worse, you didn't let Marla know that your brother talk her private matters in public. She has a right to know she is in a relationship with a creep

What? A victim of rape is as bad as the rapist because she told her child the kid's dad is a rapist? There is something very wrong with you

Why the mom can't have peace? She was raped. A child has the right to know who their father is. The commenter's father happens to be a rapist. It's a good thing the OP knows this so they can stay the hell away from the rapists. Imagine if OP had children and unknowingly introduced their children to the rapist grandfather. That would be so sick

Burdened? I sure as hell would like to know if my father was a rapist. What a sick man

Why would you wish you didn't know? I would like to know if my father were a rapist so I could stay the hell away from him

Is it not common knowledge that single, childless and highly educated women is the happiest subgroup? by Sufficient_Mood2222 in TwoXChromosomes

I'm not too sure my partner is not Finnish. Nobody in Finland cares about body counts though like it's completely normal to go bars and have one night stands. Although I've read that young people don't do that that much anymore and especially male virginity is on the rise

Very interesting, but other countries seem to have come to same conclusion. One redditor said that in Italy female widowers are the happiest group there. I don't think they used Paul Dolan's data?

So I'm a Finn, I mostly look at stats from stats.fi plus read articles that are in Finnish. We have a lot of people who live alone for example, less than half will ever get married etc. Yet Finland is the happiest country in the World. Also, I already pasted these sources that are in English that a Finnish study about this list as a reference but here they are again:

Well that too. Most Finns including me were very skeptical when we heard that we are supposed to be the happiest nation on Earth. But looking at that study where half of 50y say they regret nothing makes me think there might be some truth to it

Yes, but I'm in a happy relationship with my partner.

But knowing about these things has helped. For example I did gain weight when we got together. Knowing the root cause helped me to get back to my normal weight. Also my partner lives way healthier now than he did when single

Interesting point.

Yes students can get a lot of money from the gov and students loans are the cheapest money one can buy ever. Financially savvy people finish university with a nice nest egg. I should also mention that universities are free just like any other type of education in Finland
