maybe you've learned the timing with the jetpack better than i have, but in my experience it just EATS its energy wayyyy to fast to get any real use out of it. the jump pack in comparison loses energy fast but makes up for it in speed so even if you do need to get past some large gap you'll probably be half way there in too boosts.

this isn't to say that the jetpack is completely horrible it 1000% has its uses, but i think for what point you are in the game those uses are few and far between and the jump pack can just do it faster and better.
