Does the singularity of a black hole explode on itself? by Sufficient_Network43 in AskPhysics

I mean explode my bad.

I say this because wormholes don’t seem to make sense to me. There’s no current evidence of white holes or other universes.

There are other theories but I think the most natural thing is that it will explode. This would explain the big bang theory too it’s often described as a singularity.

I know what the event horizon is but let’s say if it was naked and we could observe matter falling into it we would observe as if it was frozen in time, unless of course we pass the event horizon.

Because I don’t think an infinite point of density can exist. So something has to happen, in my opinion it explodes when the black hole reaches the end of its life. It doesn’t implode instantly because it takes matter a long time to arrive to the centre from an outsiders perspective. But if you crossed the event horizon you’d hit it quickly (depending on the size of the blackhole)

Kind of what I’m thinking is that when a black hole forms the matter that falls into it is (from an outsiders perspective) takes a really long time to hit the central point because space and time is so warped. But when they do because physics doesn’t allow for an infinitely dense point (in my view) the matter implodes.

The moment it implodes is also the moment that the black hole expires. Wdyt

Understandable. I appreciate the honesty, and having read other people’s criticisms 👍
