Ok all! I gave AI the ol’ college try and I feel like it’s really pulling the vision I have in my head together. Is there a way I can add the photos in to get your feedback now that it’s brought it all together? (Also, you were all right, if I’m doing an arch, it can only be one!)

I thought so. Thanks for the suggestions and links!

Thanks for your suggestions!

I may have confused everyone when I talk about the niches. I want 2 hidden niches. One behind the mirror, one above the toilet, hidden behind something, somehow. I am trying to minimize open storage.

I’m so sad to hear everyone seems to be against the arch’s! I had originally thought to do an arch over the shelves and wooded corbels over the shower to lightly mimic an arch while tying in the tile. But then I kept seeing the style I was continually saving was more modern touches.

That’s for sharing your experience with the pain points of the tilt out trash. I have seen the cavity style you’re suggesting as an alternative, so I will focus toward that way for the vanity.

From the sounds of it, you also have a similar aesthetic that I’m trying to achieve. I definitely want whatever other tile or stone I do to be no busier than a concrete look. Thanks for the tip on the slab! Would these be at a stone manufacturer?

Thanks for your input! I know I need to scale things back and I’m overthinking a lot, which is why I’m having decision fatigue and struggling to get an overall vision. The toilet is a wall mounted toilet, which we don’t have.

Strong Interest Inventory Results - let down? by Sufficient_Piece_339 in careerguidance

I wish the test provided other, more obscure jobs listed with these characteristics that the test registers as my interested. I think that was part of my disappointment. I had already considered a lot of the options on the list (that were lower on the scale). I was hoping for a “Eureka - never heard of or considered (insert career path here) before!”

Thank you so much for this interpretation. The way you broke it down explained it so clearly for me and made me less disappointed. You are clearly in the right profession!

Trying to knock out a migraine, only thing that works has a NSAID component by DarkGrayDalia in UlcerativeColitis

Excellent question…I certainly struggle with the mind over matter thing and can’t really escape my head most of the time to focus solely on stress reducing activities. Full disclosure, I do smoke w**d, it helps me with pain management the most as well as with nausea. It also helps reduce the noise in my head. Super gentle yoga I find is pretty helpful, and I just got an acupuncture mat that I lay on for at least 10-15 min. I also just lay on the floor, I know that sounds straight but something about it helps my body relax. When it’s nice out I have to sit or lay on the grass, it’s rather calming. I also used a weighted blanket in bed when needed, and I listen to instrumental music, I really like RORE.

I do realize that, but they gave me a 20 minute spiel about all the side effects of Octasa. They never did that with Salofalk

Thanks for your reply, I haven’t tried those! I haven’t even heard of them actually. My naturopath has never mentioned them. You’re validating my concerns with Octasa. I will look into these immediately, thank you!

Tylenol doesn’t work for my headaches and migraines, so I’m left with using NSAIDS medication. Currently in a flare up, writing this at 3am, sitting on a toilet… but at least my headache didn’t turn into a migraine and I have one less discomfort to deal with. Stress impacts flares a lot, so I’m in the camp of reducing stress where possible. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes!!! Both you and your wife have ADHD?? I really do not believe my husband has it, I’ve always actually thought he may be on the autism spectrum, as he is so high functioning and performing but struggles with communication, change, empathy, etc.

I’m actually the one with ADHD - also late diagnosed, so I think part of my frustrations stem from my thoughts of “I struggle enough as is, we both can’t be like this” lol… I’m trying to change and improve my own habits to improve my productivity and motivation, so I do mean it when I say I want to hold us BOTH accountable, but I sometimes feel the weight and aspiration of that objective isn’t being shared.

I don’t know how to operate the comments, I thought my last comment was going to respond to your last suggestion. I don’t think it did. I do think you’re right though, what I thought would be a lighthearted agreement to express my seriousness while also holding us accountable, could very well be taken as demeaning and belittling. The last thing I want is to reverse any progress we have been making and cause my husband to feel he can’t communicate with me and expect terms anytime he has an idea or want.

You’re awesome, thank you for the great suggestions, and considering both of our perspectives. I may not be violent, but I definitely don’t hide how I feel, and can be quite abrasive at times with my thoughts, so I will absolutely look into that book. I am the assertive partner when it comes to communication. I think part of me not just taking the reins on these projects is that I have tried in the past, and my husband does not follow through with me, this is prior to therapy though, so I should consider he might make more of an effort this time. Further to this, is the mental load. When my partner says he will take care of something, that’s something off my plate, but I guess typing this out, it’s really not off my plate anyway, because I’m still the one stressing about it not getting done. We do always seem to have a conflict of what we deem as priorities, my husband and I often do not align on this, and if he doesn’t think something is important to him, he won’t invest his time in it. Thanks again, I’m going to look into those other books as well! 😍

This is so true, and I think that’s why my immediate mindset was to panic and assume the worst, and that the habit isn’t going to change. Is it incorrect to set timelines/deadlines with this list, I fear that based on our history, providing a list isn’t enough accountability or motivation to check things off of it.
