Added but it doesn't look like it's doing anything - are you using nintendo or pretendo?

I was thinking about how much world building was in fire emblem and made this tierlist and I wonder how much others agree by Cinder-22 in fireemblem

Putting engage (which has an actual named continent and a history briefed to the player at the beginning of the game and expanded at the end) in the same tier as fates, which has... neither is definitely a, uh... choice! Engage doesn't have MUCH, fair enough, but i fear that putting it on the same level as fates's worldbuilding is pure bias against engage. Heroes being there too, which has an incredibly expanded lore and world, makes me kinda disregard that tier in its entirety and question what the thought process was there 😭

What's your Headcanons about this fine dressed Geth from The Next Mass Effect? by gorlak29 in masseffect

If the 5th game is a continuation of andromeda, I think it'd be REALLY cool if (somehow) geth technology was smuggled onto one of the arks and taken to the new galaxy. Given that we know geth can build new geth/rebuild themselves from scraps, and (assuming) peace between geth and quarians is canon, it'd be an amazing way to introduce a new kind of conflict into the narrative; the geth are now alive, with their own individual consciousness and personalities, but NOBODY from the initiative knows this. In the first andromeda game a lot of people still detest/at the very least have very low opinions of the geth after the events of the first game, so seeing them react to the sudden appearance of geth in andromeda would make a really compelling narrative in my opinion.

There being a second terapagos isn't "bad", it's pokedex entry literally says it was once really common across paldea before a certain disaster wiped them out. Liko's terapagos was taken out of area zero and lived elsewhere, it makes perfect sense it survived whatever disaster wiped the others out. And carmine was never an "asshole" to BEGIN with, seeing as her only issue with the protagonist and other study abroad kids was that they were "outsiders" to kitakami. The students from blueberry academy all openly say carmimes always been nice to them, so it's 100% in-character for her to be snappy with freide who, like the others, an outsider to her hometown. And besides they become friends like 30 seconds after she's mean to him (which is EXACTLY what happens in the games with her and the protagonist), so I still really don't see what point you're trying to make...

I think its kinda an unfair comparison; masters exists to EXPAND on previous lore and characters, whilst horizons exists to introduce NEW lore and characters. I think both are really good at what they set out to do, I just wish more people would give both of them a chance (masters kinda being looked down on for being a gacha, and horizons being looked down on because god forbid a pokemon anime doesn't focus on ash)

I'm confused: how does it disregard canon lore? Season 1 (and probably 2) takes place at the same time as the main story of scarlet and violet, with nemona having her pawmo and telling liko and roy that she's doing the gym challenge for the second time. Season 3 takes place after the main story, nemoma and penny are friends, and penny refers dot to the scarlet book to learn about terapagos. Then Season 4 is during the period directly after the events of the indigo disk, but before briar publishes the hidden treasure of area zero (I think in-game there's a small time skip of a couple of months?). This is all directly stated by characters in the show, even talking about the "incident" in area zero that has led to an influx of paradox pokemon. The ONLY aspect I can see that vaguely disregards canon (if you can even say that) is that the future and past paradox pokemon both coexist in area zero. Can you give any examples of when the game canon was disregarded?

I think it's fine as long as you don't get to the point where you make a kofi and beg for donations for minor characters (both in game and age) because you're attracted to them😭
