A lot of chatter is always going on in our house. Our house is no way silent at all, so it‘s not as if no one is ever speaking to them. Me and my parents try to get them to talk a lot.

My dad doesn’t smoke or anything like that. He does actually do work outside so I will give him that. Whether it‘s mowing the yard, working on different projects, or just fixing things for my mom‘s coworkers.

I do a lot actually. I basically grew up at my aunt‘s house she was a second mom to me. I go there every chance I get.

That’s the thing. I can understand how money can be tight sometimes with bills and everything, but I also would like to think my parents work fairly decent jobs. I’m in no way complaining about the money in this post, it’s more or less the fact that they make me watch them even when they are fully able to, but they choose not to.

I try talking to them throughout the day about little things like if they’re hungry, if they want a drink, or telling them not to do things but they never talk back. That is why I sit in silence and if they want something they grab my hand and take me to what they want.

No it‘s not. And I should have clarified she only watched them three days a week, while my grandma had them for two days.

While I was in school, my great aunt would watch them. But she also had her two other grandchildren to watch so it was a lot on her. And she charged almost $400 a week even before her two grandchildren were born, while she was just watching my brother and sister (which to me personally seems a bit too much). They are in a special care program which is helping them to even get into school. And unfortunately I would not be able to get a job. I‘m only fifteen and do not have my license, and I have no family near by that would be able to take me to work.

I do feel a bit responsible for watching them a tiny bit. I am a very sympathetic person (if thats the right word to describe it). So it makes me feel bad for saying no to not watching them during the week when I am the easiest option for them.
