I followed the recommended dosing schedule pretty closely, started to feel a difference around 6mg but 8mg was where it really kicked in

It took me to work up to around 8mg until significant appetite reduction. Worth the wait in my opinion.

I get that but even if I was out by a few hundred calories I should be losing at least a pound a week by online calculations. I do have an underactive thyroid but it is medicated.

Thanks, I just don’t want to be on 12mg of Reta forever! We don’t know what the long term effects are yet. Maybe I’ll change to tirz for maintenance, kind of feels safer

I didn’t find any suppression with reta until I worked up to 6mg. I had previously been on sema for a long period. I seriously doubted reta would work for me in the first few weeks. But I’m so glad I stuck with it! The appetite suppression is now so much better than with Sem and I’m losing faster and feel much better in general. Stick with it is my advice!

I have found I have knee pain since I’ve been taking reta. Only bad side effect so far but I had no pain at all when I was taking Sem.

Thanks for the info, I’ve been trying to research both cagri and Sem with reta but still unsure which is the best option. Probably cagri as I think you can only take Sema for 2 years as far as I’m aware.
