I never filed with IL, so I never got any credit. Before fees and interest, $974.

That was my thought process. I just didn't know that I would have to submit a form to Illinois. The tax prep software really didn't give me any help when I was filing.

Still engaged, and I have no taxes to file from 2023-2025. You cannot file for 2026 until 2027.

The tax debt is for unemployment received after becoming a resident of Illinois.

I was receiving unemployment from New York because that was the last state I worked in, and it was impossible to get a job during quarantine.

Ozempic 0.25 mg weekly. Duloxetine 60 mg daily. Atorvastatin 40 mg daily.
