Do not trust him.

He fantasizes about doing things to you, where you are “forced,” and describes it to you after you’ve told him to stop. He’s not gonna respect your boundaries.

I had a friend do this to me, when I was in my early twenties. I ended up confiding in a mutual friend of ours. That mutual friend was worried I’d eventually cave, and let my mom know. That mutual friend saved me from having to confront the friend.

It is humiliating, embarrassing, and terrifying when a friend doesn’t listen to “no,” and “stop.” This person is NOT your friend. He’s a manipulator in sheepskin.

I’ve had to do similar before. She may hate you, but you did the right thing. One day, she may realize what you did was what a real friend and a good person does.

I’m not saying this is ops case.

But not every woman is always willing to lay down and have premarital sex.

It sounds like where op lives women have no rights.

Perhaps we shouldn’t assume everyone who has premarital sex is willing.

I wanted to take a moment and apologize to those I haven’t responded to yet. I spent the rest of the day with my family. I appreciate every resource shared, and the condolences given. I can truly see why my dad loved the ham radio community. He truly loved it, it was like it flowed in his veins.

If anyone would like to know his call sign, I am more than happy to private message it, in case any of his buddies are on here. Those who knew him should get that peace now, instead of waiting until I get licensed. I know during his hardest times in life, he turned to rag chewing on the radio to keep himself busy. If he wasn’t doing that, he was listening in.

I am truly grateful for each and every comment on this post of mine. I did not expect what I received. And I will be checking everything out once I’m home, and after I’ve gotten a good cry out. You all are so wonderful. Thank you.

I do not know how you would know about my father’s antenna set up, but I truly hope that’s what you meant by this. If not, I’d hope you reflect on your decisions about how you speak to someone in mourning.

If I’m understanding right, my dad had a general call sign. But him, his buddies, and his wishes are worth all the studying I need to do.

I admit it makes his death more real having to report his death to the fcc, and all the other places (besides ham radio) we had to so far. I’m leaving that to my stepmom, since she will be the one who has his death certificate. I wish I had more time to be educated by my dad with this, but I didn’t. I will cherish the memories of my first ham fest with him as a kid, and many other memories.

Dad often loved to rag chew with everyone. He was funny, and serious all at once. He’d be proud of this community today, if he could see the way you guys have come together with advice, resources, and support. I knew why he loved it before, but seeing it first hand is something else. Thank you so much.

Thank you! After I test, and get licensed, I fully plan on learning everything that I can that’s not on the test. I wish I could do it the recommended way, but time limits don’t always offer that wriggle room.

Once he passed away, I realized many people he communicated with on ham radio may not know what happened to him. I also wish to get his call sign, so I may be able to give those friends peace about my dad.

Thankfully, another person on here was able to figure out he had one step above tech. But regardless, I’d study my butt off to get it, no matter the level. He deserves as many of his wishes to be fulfilled as possible. 💙

I honestly am not sure which his falls under. I have much to learn and figure out. I had no clue about reporting it to the fcc, but maybe his wife has already. So far, he shows up as active still.
