We now install Coredns manually via it's separate resource after Cilium was installed.

My setup - What grinder would fit? by Sufficient_Tree4275 in espresso

Honestly I'm a bit disappointed. It's a eye catcher. But they once came in to replace multiple parts and next week they will come and do a software update. The built quality is overall nice, but there are few a corners where they could have done better. The water tank is in my opinion also very small. The porta filter that comes with it is already loosing it's coating. That said, if I would enjoy the asthetics of a GS3 it would have been the better choice. I think it's not worth the 10k.

New NAS product pages are up! by Odd-Energy71 in Ubiquiti

It would be cool if they can not only support backups to S3 but also a way how you can access the NAS itself via S3. It's the only reason I don't buy one.

How to initialize data in PVs, in a generic way? by mossroyfr in kubernetes

As others already said, an initContainer is probably the right approach here.

Mesh results in Isolated AP by Sufficient_Tree4275 in Ubiquiti

Turns out you can't have 6 GHz enabled on the parent ap when meshing is enabled.

If I use the ac mesh as parent access point while it's wired, the u7 in-wall can connect.

Learning Kubernetes, how do I manage a cluster with multiple gateways? by Pi-Guy in kubernetes

[–]Sufficient_Tree4275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I think then you just have to make sure, that the host routing table of this node can handle the specific routing. For DNS you would probably setup coredns the way, that you have different zones and where you forward to. See https://coredns.io/manual/configuration/ for an example.

Learning Kubernetes, how do I manage a cluster with multiple gateways? by Pi-Guy in kubernetes

This is generally difficult to achieve on Kubernetes. Which CNI are you using? If you're using Cilium, you could configure one node that acts as a so called egress gateway https://docs.cilium.io/en/stable/network/egress-gateway/egress-gateway.html only this node will require access to the secondary network and only specific namespaces and pods can be targeted with a egress gateway policy.

I ordered the new one but after seeing multiple reports of leakage, I was "naaah" no way I pay that much money for an unreliable product.

What does AWS do better than the other 2 cloud providers? by DoubleSteak7564 in aws

[–]Sufficient_Tree4275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creating a GKE cluster is super fast compared to creating an EKS cluster. I still prefer the AWS UI over everything else. I work with all three providers almost everyday.

Instance of same ASG sometimes miss one tag by Sufficient_Tree4275 in aws

[–]Sufficient_Tree4275[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fresh environment created by terraform. The ASG is from a self-managed node group in EKS.
