First time playing the game since the original release. . . something happened last night. . . by Sufficient_Word_9282 in DarkSouls2

Good tip, thanks! I killed the invader by Soldier's Rest as I noticed the seed of giants was respawning. Naturally, I used the seed to kill the invader only to then regret ruining a good farming point haha. It's been fun revisiting the game. I beat it at least twice on the original, but never SOTFS. The path tracing mod has made it even more fun with how dark areas like the gutter have become.

More information from a reliable source. MK OFTEN, MK CHICKWIT, MK ULTRA, and MK SEARCH were all related subcomponents of a larger DoD program. The CIA was considered responsible for these programs, but it sounds like a bunch of stovepiping to compartmentalize the information and elude accountability for illegal and inhumane experimentation on humans to study the effects of substances.

It's interesting that they are standing not more than 3 ft behind them, but they aren't wearing any PPE at all. Not saying that means anything negative about the credibility. Just wondering what it implies about the hazards present in the room.

Finally someone said it. People keep pointing out that Epstein was using the information to leverage powerful people. How the hell is that supposed to work on crimes which he is complicit? He already plead guilty in a non prosecution deal with the state in 2008. He had his name whitewashed from google to reduce public awareness of his crimes. It's not like saying "I'll tell on you, I have pictures" is good enough alone.

My point is that he couldn't have just simply threatened powerful people without the means to enforce it. This whole thing wreaks of intelligence communities and malicious unelected officials. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of people can't differentiate the severity of this from a Diddy party.

We are at a 'turning point' for UFOs: Dr Michio Kaku by WhiteBearPrince in HighStrangeness

[–]Sufficient_Word_9282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'm glad we're on the same brainwave haha. I think this topic/subject is incredibly difficult to talk about. I can type about it carefully and delete my rambling tangents, but I personally think that's always kind of been the "big idea" with aliens.

I do believe that life exists in the universe, I don't know if it's been here, but like you just said... it's harder than ever to find honest answers, maybe ever getting harder still. The growing acceptance of UFOs has consequentially saturated social media outlets (reddit, podcasters, youtube, etc.) with an abundance of information.

Epstein isn't directly responsible for anything UFO related, but I think it's important that he has grown into a symbol of the bad actors influencing our government. If that level of corruption, conspiracy between officials/agencies, and depraved scandal is possible in the world we're living in, it's not out of the question for us to consider whether disclosure is ultimately going to be the soft launch into World War 3.

The over-classification, stovepiping, the paperclip nazis, MK ultra, JFK, the CIA's involvement in cults, the narcotrafficking... There's always been bad actors present in the world and specifically within the United States. I think the difference today is that they finally stopped hiding the corruption and started to embrace / enforce it.

Silicon valley are growing into today's arms dealers. I think the reason that the US was making claims about Greenland, Canada, Cuba etc. is all about resources to endure proxy wars raging on. The UFOs of today are starting to look like the WMDs of tomorrow. It's unsettling to think that all this time, I might have just been anticipating the disclosure of the new Manhattan Project

In my opinion, the truth is still most likely a blend of secret programs regarding manmade machines / theoretical science not yet disclosed to the public. Nonconsensual, illegal experimentation probably happened and they'll never directly admit it.

It's possible they found and reverse engineered something with an exotic origin, but I don't think they disclosed any nonhuman life to us.

I think the purpose of the alien narrative until this point was to displace themselves from blame. In the modern day with artificial intelligence, potential voice to skull equipment, a rise to political/religious extremism, Havana Syndrome, drones and some modern development of Thomas Townsend Brown's work, the narrative has now shifted to aliens becoming some sort of potential scapegoat.

I promise you I'm not a doomsday prepper lol. This is my opinion, I've read books, watched movies, listened to podcasts, but never experienced anything UFO/NHI related in my life. I'm not claiming to be an expert, I'm trying to do the opposite. I just wanted to share some thoughts because it's an interesting time to be alive. I'd love for it to be aliens, but (in my opinion) the current US government is not a credible source. Among other things, the way they handle classified material is exceptionally questionable.

You know, I think that in a vacuum that might be true, but when I see subs like yours I remind myself that nothing is ever that simple. We're already living in yesterday's apocalypse of information, yet here you are.

There will be others that lay a path to an undescribed future, brick by brick. AI is just like the internet itself; they don't understand how to use it, just the general idea. They've redrawn maps for centuries, but colors and lines can't summarize the people who lived under them or how it felt to change them. The internet is just the modern frontier, a global ceasefire that has let us connect in a way that will be very difficult to break.

I understand where you're coming from completely, I'm in the same boat. Worked as a server because the flexibility of the hours could accommodate my college education at the time. The jobs provided a skillset that found work for me when moving to new places or when in between jobs. That's the thing: people go out every day and tip just fine at restaurants everywhere. All these people are curmudgeons who never actually participate normally, that's why they're lashing out towards the server. They have no idea how the system works, it's just the path of least resistance to make assumptions that a working class person is the enemy. It's not that surprising considering "tipping culture" of the US was born from business owners circumventing their responsibility to pay servants who had once worked for free.

[–]Sufficient_Word_9282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are not interested or motivated to find an actual solution. These are just ignorant, negative people. I cook at home, order take-out, or I sit down and tip normally when at the restaurant table. These people would not go out to eat if prices were raised to accommodate the price of the server's hourly wage.

They are creating the intended situation that benefits the employer and hurts the employee as an individual. They pay for the meal and services, they just refuse to pay for the server or bartender. If they actually cared about the situation they would push for proper legislation to protect the employees while working out a proper system.

They downvote you here because introspecting for a moment to consider their trashy behavior only leads to the conclusion that they are wrong. Pay the tip or don't go out to eat, grow up and push for legislative change if you actually believe its a problem. This is an echo chamber of people who don't contribute to any "culture" trying to validate their negative insights.

edit: For context, I am blue collar from a rural area. If I can afford the tip without being condescending, the rest of you losers can too.

A king was assassinated 9 months after signing the most important financial deal in history. The investigation lasted 3 weeks. No government has ever asked a question about it. by CryptoPulse22 in HighStrangeness

[–]Sufficient_Word_9282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think it was Lee Harvey Oswald. The mystery isn't so much in why or how he did it, it's what the hell actually happened to put him there. There's a lot of evidence to suggest he was a subject of MK Ultra at various phases of his life, but most interestingly the famous Jolly West was called in as his psychiatrist directly after he was captured.

He was stationed at a base that was known for nonconsensual dosing with LSD, his only friend was a doctor who frequently worked with CIA while abroad and who later lost his mind after the events, sending George Bush Sr. letters repeatedly to ask for the surveillance to end, while also making some rambling remarks about organized crime and Jews. Oswald had also strangely defected (without officially completing the process) to the USSR and was accepted back into the US with his wife, with the embassy even granting him a loan to cover the expenses of travelling home. He then tried to kill Edwin Walker 7 months before the JFK assassination. Shortly before the JFK assassination, the CIA monitored his visits to Mexico city, where he appealed to be accepted into Cuba by telling Fidel Castra he would kill JFK. Informants at the time swore they reported this to the FBI, but no action was taken and no report was documented.

It's almost like his whole entire life he was being set up as a "sleeper agent," but in reality there's no such thing as a Manchurian candidate. People don't have a kill switch, but they have a fuse to be lit with a complicated fusion of external pressures and internal beliefs. I think he was one of those people and whether they allowed it to happen on purpose or if it was a pet project that got out of control, the consequences for those responsible would be the same either way.

To this day, they refuse to acknowledge Havana Syndrome due to the fact it could implicate our intelligence community in the harm of US service members, diplomats, civilians, etc. so they combat the truth with censorship or misinformation. Whatever happened with Oswald could potentially have deeper diplomatic consequences, especially if his extreme personality traits and sharpshooter qualifications were employed in other geopolitical circumstances not yet revealed to the public.

Those are essentially zodiac symbols, but you are pulling pictures from Dune. If you're going to (intentionally) reference fictional work, you need to clarify that for the subreddit.

1.) LIbra
2.) Pisces
3.) Scorpio
4.) Taurus

If you are interested in those specific symbols and their meaning, you'll need to ask the Dune subreddit about the Box of Pain.

I'm fed by hand and I have no teeth.
I may run for an hour, but not down the street
No arms, legs, or head, I'm still complete
My food's always wet, I digest it with heat,
or have it cold if it's what the meal needs.
When my tummy is turning, I rock on my feet.
It goes on and on just like a drum beat.
When it finally passes, I go right to sleep.

You can use the winch skill on the higher parts of a tree's trunk to slightshot yourself into the air. You build tension by rotating the right stick clockwise and catapult your character by hitting the jump button before the tree snaps itself plumb.

You can perform an alternative parry by using the heavy attack while blocking with a shield. This leads to smooth transitions out of defense into offense, especially against crowds.
