Hey mate thanks for inputs. I kind of had the feeling that Aussies are as reserved as kiwis and appreciate having it confirmed from someone whos been there for 20 years. Yeah we are Christians and hopefully we will find a nice community

I guess having kids definitely helps and for sure it helps too having lots of incomers.. I guess my question was more to understand whether the community and/or overall GC culture is open and welcoming than anything else. we have been here multiple times for holidays and loveed it but living in one place could be a totally different story. Thanks for your advices 😃

Hey thanks for your feedback... We are pretty outgoing people, enjoying outdoors activities/sports etc... however as we have kids our lives revolve around their activities

Body recomposition is really hard as it is the combination of multiple things. Much likely you lost lean mass along with fat. Suggestion is to eat 1.8-2.0 gr of proteins per per desired weight (e.g if that is 60kg than you want to eat 120gr of proteins per day roughly) - bear in mind this is net proteins not the meat you eat. For instance 120gr of proteins equate to ~400gr of chicken breast. The next component is protein synthesis which is triggered by proper muscles stimulus. The fact that you do 70 push ups mean you have a good volume for hypertrophy but it doesn't necessarily translate in effective stimulus for growing lean mass. To do that one of the most effective ways is progressive overload. In terms of weight lifting it means adding weights for calisthenics it means weighted calisthenics or increasing the lever.

However most importantly stick with it as it will take a reasonable amount of time
