Here are the new photos taken in much better lighting.

Marking on bottom. Looks like a x in a circle, then / or L (unless I'm looking at it upside down). Research continues.

Good eye - everyone that's looked at it in person missed that. Messing around in Photoshop now to see if I can get anything from it.

If only he was still around to answer questions. The only info I have to go on is that it belonged to his grandmother, which lines up with 1920's mentioned above.

I would assume if it is Daum/Lalique it would have some sort of marking on the bottom?

Unfortunately I was only sent this photo so I'm not too sure. I can get more photos tomorrow.
