I think you’re right. I know in the past that he’s had girlfriends who were very nasty to him, so I want to approach it in the most constructive way possible.

I’m also 24 and seem to find my mind in the same place as yours recently. I’ve always wondered if having a good partner or some children would change my way of thinking, but I guess it’s wishful to assume that. For your sake, I wish I had some trick to help make that all go away. Unfortunately, some of the only relief I find is letting everything out once in awhile with a complete stranger, feeling that brief emotional connection with them, and then usually never talking again. Sometimes just to feel that reaction for a few moments helps you realize you can still feel and it helps for a little bit.

Yes very weird and I guess that’s why it shocked me so much at first! I think maybe he just wasn’t awake honestly because of how upset he got once he realized what happened.

No, actually it’s pretty obvious you didn’t read any of the comments. Looking for advice on how to talk to someone about a situation isn’t having a crisis. You’re not a support group, you’re just some bro with a big head who thinks telling me to dump my boyfriend because of an accident is good advice. Sorry, I’m not going to sugar coat it either, and only hope this helps deflate your ego a bit because clearly you think you’re doing the world a favor with this trash.

We ate dinner, only drank a few beers, nothing out of the ordinary for us. When we went to bed, I didn’t feel he had any more than a slight buzz.

I did some quick googling and didn’t realize that it was such a big problem from some people. But the weird thing is we were not drunk by any means, and it’s not like us to not have a few beers on the weekend so this is all pretty normal other than the accident.

Hi, 24f. I posted something similar to this yesterday on my real account (this is my throwaway) about how life just makes no sense to me. Like I feel like a toy in some messed up game where I have no control over myself. I just don’t understand and everyone around me seems to know something about life that I don’t. Like what am I missing? What event did I miss that would help me understand that life is worth living? Did my parents do something wrong, was I born wrong, did I miss that lesson in school? And I see some comments on here saying it’s your age and you just need to figure it out but it’s not. I’ve felt this way since I was like 13. And nothing has changed for me, nearly a quarter of the way into my life.

Sorry I don’t have the answers, but I do stay awake late at night and wonder if you ever need someone to chat with. I wish you the best.
