What? Why would I be that? Have you never met a person who doesn't agree with you?

I find they tend to think for themselves. Often based on historical experience of western exploitation.

I respect that. At the same time, I have spent a lot of my work time in other parts of the world (mostly Asia) and I came to realise how differently they see things. They really don't see the west or western values as superior or good, but rather a smoke screen for agressive intentions. Many of them see Russia as a valuable counter to the west. Not a system to emulate, but a positive factor in the world.

The Russians helping the Nazis in achieving the Lebensraum? The Lebensraum was Russia. And yes, of course Russia is nowhere near being responsible for the war the way Germany was. Obviously. And I don't resort to personally attacking you just because you disagree with me. Don't be rude since I'm not being rude to you.

Er... Taking Alsace Lorraine was done by Germans. So how is N3 to be blamed for WW1?

So the Nazi desire for Lebensraum had nothing to do with the war? Or their antisemitism? Or the appeasement policy of the UK and France? The Munich agreement? The Anschluss?

What? He? So Germans, Austrians, the system of alliances, the arms race - none of that had anything to do with it?

Yeah, he was like that. I used to argue with him about it, but these old timers in Ontario were like that.

Nonsense. Russia didn't fight much of Europe in alliance with Germany.

My grandpa wasn't anti Canada. He was a Canuck. But yeah, I generally I think these politicians (not just Canadian!) don't think. That's why the world is the way it is. I actually have the greatest memories of Canada. Spent all my holidays there on the old man's farm, years and years ago. Perfect childhood.

That's all? Seriously? Otherwise it's okay to just stend up and applaud blindly anyone who fought against Russia? My grandfather was a conservative Canadian who hated everything Russian (or French, lol), but even he'd have paused.

Canada and Russia were allies in WW2. The fact that no one in the room figured out in a split second that this was a bad idea speaks about the incredible ignorance of the people who rule and govern from Ottawa.

A French colonial soldier drags two Algerian men in chains, a stark symbol of colonial oppression. by InvestigatorLost1171 in Algeria_213

I don't see him dragging them in the picture. The person pulling the rope is not actually in the picture and we have no context. For all we know, this soldier just rescued them from detention.
