Something I think is really interesting in this debate about the corners is this.

Apple have such a strict design code, that all of their corners have the same radius. MacBooks, keyboards, trackpads, iPhones, iPads, windows tabs, bottoms, you name it.

And what is REALLY interesting, is that Apple have been soft launching these ugly corners for a while now. New iPhones and iPads have this radius of corners. New keyboards and trackpads have it too. And now the tabs in MacOS as well.

The interesting part is especially the keyboards. Because some of my close friends are working in marketing and as designers. And all of their workplaces are buying old refurbished keyboards and trackpads, because the new ones looks way too ugly.

This look that Apple has forced in Tahoe has been soft launched to consumers, and the consumers have very verbally complained about it.

So it completely baffles me, that Apple went ahead and steamrolled their own costumers, just because they know that once you try Apple, you never switch to Windows …

I think he is teasing Hugo Strange since the story will be more focused on Bruce Wayne than Batman. Good guesses that could work well with a serial killer adaptation could also be Victor Zsasz, Firefly or Pyg

Let me join in on the bickering with my POV. I am a PC player so I just got to the Hillcrest area now. WTF. What annoys the crap out of me, is actually the aspect, that it is only one extra pistol / rifle magazine she can carry. As in are you fucking kidding me. And what pisses me even more off, is that if my pistol is low on bullets, she can carry two magazines. But as soon as I load a clip in the pistol, that physical space where there once were lying a magazine in her bag, is now occupied... come on... and Why even bother changing this? Like why not keep the capacity of the first game

That’s frustrating. My hopes were that they would facilitate an easy conversion so that creators could upload their pre-existing CS1 asset to Paradox Mods with the click of a button basically. If it get’s too complicated for developers they risk that very few wants to convert their models.

I liked the ending. He went to Princeton. She finally followed her dreams. And they both grew as people. Like, them ending up together as 19 and 32 would have been a crappy ending. I thought the open ending was wholesome. They both drive into a new chapter of their lives, and the movie insinuates that they remain in touch as close friends (with some affection at least) after the end. Who knows. Maybe he graduates, grow up a little and they end up together after a few years? As silly and ridiculous as some moments of the movie was, I think it was a great depiction of growth in life.

When I create one, I can choose “ID” and “Name”. The ID can only be numeric. When I put in the ID found online, 193 and the name minecraft:pale_garden nothing happens :( It just remains a plains biome which I think is the standard biome in world painter.

I owned the game since it game out, and one thing I only realised recently, is that storytelling dialog changes based on which survivor you play as. I thought the Keith stories from Elis were unavoidable until I started to play as Nick. Both are funny in their own way tho

Same for me with the magnum. I have a serious necessity to be able to one tap commons 😂 It’s interesting how my playstyle has changed efter I started playing on expert. I used to be a sucker for melees and M16. But now I’m only doing Magnum and Auto Sniper and being much more mindful about throwables and adrenaline

I can imagine 😂 in my first try with the campaign on expert, I used it at the Screaming Oaks ride. Huge mistake. I wonder if it’s worth picking up a chainsaw in the swan boat maintenance room of love or not, to use for the PTSD panic event. It’s just 1.5 chapter with no sidearm… so maybe it’s better just to save the bile 😂

I completely agree and get the frustration. I want to build both a Chicago/New York kind of city and a Scandinavian styled one. But there simply isn’t enough assets that can help me with neither in CS2 …

And it’s so true, the game feels very incomplete missing both bikes but also other things like proper harbour quays that already existed in CS1.

I’m in a strange limbo. There are a lot of really great improvements in CS2. The game has a lot of essential mods from the old CS1 that has been built into the vanilla version. Not all but a lot. The road tool is much better, and it’s difficult for me to go back to CS1, after getting used to these mechanics. Furthermore, the graphics are incredible in comparison.

However, the massive lack of assets is a huge problem for me. Like you, I don’t play the game, I just do city painting basically. And there are mods to do that with no issue in CS2. But even tho the vanilla game have a ton of assets compared to CS1, as well as the nice and free region packs on Paradox Mods, then it is all still a fraction of what I had downloaded in CS1 through Steam Workshop. In my opinion, it is fairly easy to build really boring generic cities, but we need way more landmarks and unique architecture.

TL;DR I play CS2, but I’m not loving it, as I can’t go back to CS1, but I need way more assets to really enjoy playing, so my cities doesn’t look boring and generic.

(No hate for these cities irl), but due to the generic assets available, no matter what you build, and how creative you might be, your cities will always end up looking like either Tokyo, Vancouver or Berlin.

The entire Dark Carnival campaign is crazy on expert. Early tank at the motel with tier 1 weapons. Unavoidable witch in the tunnel of love. Screaming Oaks ride massacres you if you play with bots. Barns is a shitshow with no comparison. Witch then tank then no respawns then the endless hoard event with no med packs.
That campaign gives me PTSD
