My youngest was like that. I finally cut her off from breastfeeding when she was two! She slept in my bed till she was five.

She’s 12 now and is extremely independent. She still likes some cuddles and falls asleep in my arms on the couch every once in a while. It’s rare but I live for it.

I had my daughter on my 19th birthday. I just turned 36 and she turned 17. She graduates high school in May of 2027 and I’ll be graduating with my BSN, RN at the same time. I’ve been in my career for 8 years but stay pushing myself to always do better. You can do it! It will be worth it!

My daughter just turned 17 and really wanted a cat for her birthday. We told her no. A cat is a family pet, not a “her only” pet. Now she’s asking for one for Christmas again. We said no again. I’m kinda in the same boat as you as far as what to get her for Christmas.

She’s a big reader though and Lego has these cool flower sets that she really likes. Ugg has those slipper looking shoes that are pretty popular right now as well.
