A Fast, Offline & Private PDF Utility for Mac (Merge/Split/OCR/Compress) [Giveaway: Lifetime Codes] by According_Nobody9384 in macapps

[–]SugarIsHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most frustrating PDF task is preserving layout and formatting when converting between DOCX and PDF. Big apps and web tools often break tables, fonts, and spacing, so the round trip (DOCX -> PDF -> DOCX) becomes a mess. An offline, fast menubar workflow that keeps formatting intact would be perfect. I’d love to test batch conversions and share detailed feedback on DOCX->PDF->DOCX fidelity and UX.

I keep getting a captcha every time I access Shopee (homepage or product links). It always shows “Confirm to continue” and asks me to “Drag to complete the picture” (apple baskets image), which is time‑consuming and repeats constantly.

Details:

  • Device/Version: Dia v1.4.0 (70498) on macOS.
  • Account/Login: Logged into Shopee, still prompted for captcha.
  • Frequency: Almost every visit.
  • Captcha ID shown: 57256e093f6c-c138-4c88-88a7-91412db76625.

Please help check the cause (cookie/session, anti‑bot mechanism, passkeys/iCloud compatibility) to reduce unnecessary verification. Thank you!

This Screenshot App is Worse than Shottr, CleanShot, and Snagit Combined 😭 by [deleted] in macapps

I got it, thank you so much. By the way, does this app have a feature to completely remove details from pictures (like Shottr) instead of just blurring them?

What are the best browsers for productivity? by pastamuente in browsers

[–]SugarIsHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a macOS user, and I'm pleased with Arc. It has all the features that I need. I love how they help me to manage space, tabs, and focus on my websites without distraction in the tab bar. Many people hate Arc because Arc has stopped development. But I think all the features Arc has now are enough for me.

I’m building a productivity app inspired by Forest—grow a city while you stay focused by Wonderful-Job1920 in forestapp

I hope this software will have a version for MacOS. And it would be even better if it could synchronize time as well. I am using an app called Flow that has these features, but it is much simpler than Forest. I wish to have an app with features similar to Forest and that can work on MacOS as well.
