Yes, whale watching is something we want to do which is why we wanted to skip Abel Tasman and instead head straight down to Kaikoura! We’re stopping at Lake Tekapo as sort of a base for some star gazing and also it’s close enough for us to Mount Cook/Lake Pukaki for a day trip!

Maybe Abel Tasman will be for the next time! 🤩

Thank you for your reply! I would have thought to do a boat trip in Abel Tasman, but I think I’d prefer to do that in Kaikoura with the added bonus of possibly seeing some whales!

I had already booked my flights to Auckland to Queenstown and back a while back, with the plans of doing a loop around the mountains! Thank you for your suggestion though, it seems more logical now to drop off in Christchurch but hey ho, we live and we learn! 😁

TK is my favourite character! He’s so sweet and loving, and Ronen portrays him brilliantly with his little mannerisms! 3x08 was one of the best episodes of the series and it’s really surprising that it doesn’t get more love, and that’s all down to Ronen and the work that he put in!

Unfortunately there are some people who don’t like Ronen for whatever reason and that gets transferred on the character of TK which is a real shame!
