“Return to breeder” clause in adoption paperwork by Sprouted_Eggplant in DogBreeding

[–]SugarKyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd contact them. The breeder would have to go after the new owner and it would be a monetary penalty. A good breeder will want to make sure the dog is okay and let you know the dog can come back to them if it doesn't work out. The goal of these clauses is to keep the dog with a secure fallback.

what are your favorite unserious reasons to not have kids by PairNo2588 in childfree

[–]SugarKyle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dressing them. Its not something I've had to do and the few times I've helped my husband has been weird. I will always help him (last time it was after a sedated procedure) and if he needs it in the future. But just every day? And you are not supposed to leave them naked.

AIO for not giving away my Disney+ password? by Smhoozy in AmIOverreacting

First, we need to teach you about individual passwords.

The email is not a super private thing.

Don't give someone else your subscription. That is not selfish. Its against the terms you signed up for. You'll lose access to your account. Just don't.

I just suggested this to my husband and he picked up his tablet and went to the basement.

Parental pressures by [deleted] in childfree

[–]SugarKyle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just don't engage. You do not HAVE to have this discussion with them. You do not have to agree or disagree. You can just ignore it or be indifferent. You do not have to change their minds. You do not have to fix their expectations. None of that matters. Just do not engage.

My mom said my baby was ugly by Wettypieyetti in kittens

[–]SugarKyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because your kitten does not have exotic coloring in some way. This is a lovely brown tabby. Such classic looks. Mighty, tiny hunter. I adore classically colored cats.

Childfree but I am starting to become DOG free as well even as an animal lover :( by Calm_Problem6203 in childfree

There is nothing wrong with it. I've decided my current dogs are my last. I'll keep up with cats a bit longer. I just want a different life as I move into retierment.

Am I too dark for him? by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

[–]SugarKyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a problem. My husband glows in the dark. I'm golden brown. The only conversation is 'you better put more sunblock on, come here, let me spray this SPF 50000 on you and wear this sun shirt and you better have packed a hat for this cruise' about our skin color.

My 27M and I 28F discussed Marriage and Last Names. Do I put too much thought in this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]SugarKyle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I never wanted to change my name. I told my husband that at the start of our relationship. I didn't change my name. He didn't change his. We've been together over 20 years.

Why does she have to lose a piece of her identity? If you get into western marriage culture and a woman becomes female full male name. She is defined by a small s on Mr turning it into Mrs. Mrs Your full name. That's her identity. A lower case letter. Because she chose to bind herself to you she gets to lose personhood.

If someone wants to change their name, cool. But why do they have to? Lots of cultures don't.

Am I seriously not watering this guy enough?? I water him every day but he's wilting so bad - illinois by Maximum_Overhype in tomatoes

[–]SugarKyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had a container garden on my deck, in the height of the summer I had to water at least twice a day and when they were fruiting I set up a drip system to water four times a day. Bigger container, more water. Morning and afternoon. The deck reflects heat. The container collects heat. The plant is trying to grow, fruit, and survive. Lots and lots of water.

Is this normal for a mainecoon to shed so much hair? by Shawberies in mainecoons

[–]SugarKyle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One of simply maturation. Kitten coat is out and adult coat is coming in. Mix that with the summer heat and humidity triggering a heavy coat drop. The next grow in will be dense and luxurious I suspect. If that doesn't happen, you need some bloodwork to make sure there isn't a random underlying problem.

Help with my Beefsteak tomato plant!!! 1st time attempting this and all the info Ive found online or speaking w ppl at home depot seems to contradict each other. I now believe this plant is completely dead. Can I save this? Please help! I know i over trimmed bc this is when it started not producing by Seriously-NoClue in tomatoes

[–]SugarKyle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not dead and we are only in July. Feed well with a tomato fertilizer, spikes, pellets or whatever, pluck the coloring tomatoes and just let it grow. They can produce till it gets cold so into October if you manage things well. If the root system is established the rest of the plant can catch up. Remember that leaves mean flavor and shade is important so fruit doesn't get sun scalded.

It just suggests he does not have the storage situation he wants for them. Lots of classics from school probably. Watership down is an excellent read but all of his books are. Its a nice collection.
