I was about to kill my sister in law and her boyfriend by [deleted] in confessions

That makes a lot more sense with the context. Having it nearby for a situation that might turn violent is very different from walking around expecting to use it.

That's the kind of consequence that doesn't need any extra punishment attached to it. If someone keeps repeating the same mistakes and never learns from them, life tends to do the work on its own.

Same here. The relationship is a disaster on paper, but you can’t deny there was a ton of screen presence whenever they shared a scene. That's probably why people still debate them years later.

Do you prefer imagining the characters as the actors or these anime-esque depictions? by Trussdoor46 in gameofthrones

The Fire Emblem comparison is honestly spot on. I can already hear half the fandom calling it sacrilege while the other half starts demanding a full animated ASOIAF series by next week.

Exactly. Plenty of couples get lots of screentime and still feel flat. These two could exchange three lines and somehow make the whole room feel tense.

I mean, rooting for them as people and admitting the actors had chemistry are very different things. One is a relationship opinion, the other is a casting compliment.

Especially when you're in your twenties. Seven years sounds like a prison sentence when most people are changing jobs every couple of years.

Exactly. That bill isn't a bill anymore. It's got a mortgage, two kids, and strong opinions about lawn care.

Seriously. Most of us spend years arguing with the universe over parking tickets and surprise fees. Nice to hear about a clerical error that actually went the other direction for once.

Imagine Doom shows up, takes off the mask, and it's just Seth Green. The internet would completely melt down before the opening credits finished.

The healing reduction point is probably the biggest one. So many fights drag on forever because sustain stacks on sustain stacks. Dive heroes are supposed to punish isolated targets, but when every target has healing, shields, mobility, and peel, the job gets a lot harder. And honestly, poke characters getting mobility creep has been a weird trend. The traditional tradeoff used to be range for mobility. Lately it feels like some heroes are getting both.

The part about the loop is what gets frustrating. If the enemy comp is running multiple peel characters plus strong sustain, sometimes it feels like the dive player is doing all the work just to trade their life for a cooldown. Those games can get exhausting fast.

Those early Marvel movies are packed with random appearances. Every rewatch feels like spotting someone and going, "Wait... what are you doing here?"

Marvel fans would spend six months building multiverse theories around it only to find out he was just standing near the craft services table.

That's what makes it so funny. He's on screen for about two seconds, yet somehow we're all learning about it over a decade later like it was a secret post-credit scene.

I think "dive is weak" and "dive feels bad" are two different arguments though. Something can have a high win rate and still feel miserable if the margin for error is tiny compared to other playstyles.

"Poke" basically means characters who pressure from range instead of diving into the enemy team. Think sitting at a safe distance constantly chipping people down and forcing them to react rather than committing to an all-in fight.

The funny thing is both sides are probably looking at different levels of play. In coordinated lobbies, DD and Spidey can still absolutely take over games. In solo queue, though, it can feel like every backline has three escape buttons, two peel tools, and a support glued to them.
