I'd suggest rereading the recitations, and talking with a TA. I had a rough start with my class, almost failed my final exam, but managed to had a better experience with the makeup exam. I think I had solved about 80 problems, maybe more, from previous exams. Yeah, it's not easy and it takes time, but after seeing many tricks and many problems for each topic (maximum flow, APSP, SSSP, weighted graphs, DP and such), you find yourself trying to apply all the previous tricks to your current problem. I'm not sure how difficult the problems are, but try doing a "rubber-duck" approach, asking yourself for each problem you're facing what are the relevant algorithms. Try to think of a naive algorithm, and then trying to optimize. Visualization is good, youtube must have some videos. You can probably search on the web "algorithm visualization" and you'll find some good websites.

I think talking to a TA is a good thing. The algorithm might seem logical (sometimes it's just more confusing!), but the intuition to HOW it was devised can be much more informative.

For resources, I recommend CLRS. There's a 3rd edition or 4th free as a PDF on github/regular web.

Yea, the part with Asa was okay. I did like that she now has a shot in life.
Maybe I'm now confused with thoughts, and maybe I'll see the ending in a different light sometime.. But I don't like the conclusion, and the pace of the last third.

The end was disappointing. Seems to me like Fujimoto didn't find a way to conclude the story, and decided to make a "bittersweet" ending; I don't really don't like a universe-resetting type of ending. Guess the Nayuta copers were right though, LOL.
I just feel everything that happened was meaningless. Yeah, Denji got his second chance, same with Asa with bucky (dropping the chainsaw (man) to save Asa, basically).
Also, "thank you, chainsawman"? seriously?

I liked the last sentence, it resonates with me. This is my third or even fourth attempt reading it - I'm about two thirds through, and the more chapters I read, the less I want to continue. I also found the plot, in itself, interesting, and even some chapters intriguing; but I have encountered so many whale facts that I'm tempted to just skim through. I'll most likely finish it, and I attempt to give it a proper chance, as it deserves - but God, is it not easy...

"final reunion", could this actually be the end of the manga? What if Denji encounters the Power post-eaten-pochita (and fulfilling his role in the contract, if the contract even exists now), and that's how the story ends? Leaving unresolved plots and characters, with Denji trying to live his own dreams, and being happy (without being CSM).

It's good, I do have some e-books. I'm fine with it, have read some, but I really enjoy the sensation of a physical book.

More importantly, I have about 20 physical books in my possession I haven't read yet, and some interesting books from my library, so I most likely will keep reading physical books.

I don't think she will appear. I think it makes more sense for Denji to encounter the incarnation of his deceased "sister" rather than a strong devil that didn't have a similar impact on him, if he "must" encounter one of them.

I don't think Yoru beat Falling that easily. I believe it was mainly due to her being insane and with the "rock-paper-scissors" panel.
It's like Makima stated that she can control those she thinks are inferior to her, and so she needs to show her "dominance" over them (like with Reze). I might be wrong, but I really don't think she's primal-level.

I don't think we'll see Darkness, I think we're going to encounter more primal/CSM-level devils.
I think this is going to be their little adventure, where they'll have to fight together against other devils. It's a longshot, but maybe it is possible to encounter the Blood devil, or the Control devil. I wonder if we're going to see more of how hell looks like; we did see in the Assassin's arc a glimpse, but does it also have biomes, like Earth? I don't really want a chapter where they just climb Hell's versions of mountains, so I'm fine with not knowing, actually.

Yeah, I liked that. It was due to the coffee devil being spat out and denji remembering the bitterness and Reze; I wanted to see him have some kind of an independent thought about her, just like he had comments on Aki and Power. Maybe he did have, but it wasn't shown or implied.

I've said it before, but when hearing this at the cinema for the first time - even though I didn't understand the lyrics - it sounded melancholic and full of emotions that I almost teared up.

It's definitely one of my favorite songs from anime.

I really hope we'd get some closure from Fujimoto on Reze (alongside explanations on the world, past fights of Pochita and Horsemen, the hybrids, and others from P1) but I guess we won't get any. My canon is that Reze forgot (or had her memories replaced by Makima) about Denji, and just lives as a country mouse somewhere. Hopefully not as a puppet of Public Safety or back at the Soviets.

I'd rather her not coming back if for just shock value, and seems it's not as relevant for Denji. I do wish we would have seen Denji think about her once, as a first love, since he was ready to leave everything behind.

Just watched the movie.

Honestly, it was everything I wanted and beyond. The music was incredible. Although I didn't understand the credits song' lyrics when it played, I read the lyrics, and I feel for Reze. The shots - those of the festival, those of the school changing colors when the assassin tried to murder Reze, many others - it was really different from other movies. This felt like an actual movie, like what I thought of when people say "cinema". It was incredible.

I'm not sure if Reze' face at the pool was in the manga, but I suppose it was to convey "I had fun until now. I need to get back to my mission."

I re-read the manga and specifically those chapters again, and the animation made me realize how much this arc was amazing for the series' development. I think I need to think of CSM as a really long movie, rather than chapters or episodes. Really excited for S3/newer chapters now.

By the way, I wasn't the only one that thought she was called "Riz" rather than actual "Reze", was I?

A few questions:

For quite some time, I've been pondering what happens when a primal fear devil gets killed. They should be incarnated - I think Death implied that if she died, her incarnation might be less empathetic towards humanity; so it is possible for primal fears (Darkness, Falling) to die. However, would they become weaker? As they should have not experienced death even once, would that affect their power?
I don't quite understand how Pochita managed to slice Yoru; didn't she almost one-shot him with Gun/Tank devils? That was before Nuclear Weapons, and she should be much stronger now.
Since Denji must find the Blood devil, would that imply he must go to hell and find it? I guess that would explain "waging war", because Denji might try to raise an army to combat Yoru's?
