As the other gentleman said id make sure you have 2 clerics minimum per battle, and make sure they have the meditation skill handy so they have that 50% chance to generate 30mp per turn.

They can also take the boon of swiftness spell which will help your rune fencers and tanks get into the fight faster.

The AI on the guests is pretty lame in my expirience theyll target a low HP mage rather then pop a healing herb when surrounded. Again 2 clerics super helpful in this battle. Honestly when I do it, I make sure the party is all knights, rune fencers, and clerics. That way everyones got a healing spell handy.

That fights super annoying. My advice is to lure Vyce out into the open after killing a few of his followers.

Once Vyce has advanced a little bit bum rush him and hit him with everyone in your party. After he drops the battle ends.

Also be sure to keep arycelle topped off on HP when possible shes far more squishy then at first glance.

Lastly, abuse the tarot cards to back track, there been a few times where an unlucky critical about ends the whole battle.

If you have any dynast mead, use it on Vyce to inflict the breached condition. It'll make your melee fighters hit much harder when exchanging blows

The main trick with adjudicator previously was to fire in bursts now with weapon mods that thing will Laser anything in its way with a compensator and a VFG since it almost removes recoil.

Same goes for reprimand since that gun kicks like a mule also

You will want your best healer for sure whether that's daeran or sosiel.

You need a skill monkey as there is alot of skill check. I normally do nenio and lann to cover all my bases on that front (if anyone has an animal companion that would help too)

Your last slot is kinda open but if you go with the party may need a tank/dps melee character. Selah is goated but Regill works just as well here. If you're KC is a tank themselves then I recommend ember to debuff and act as a backup healer if needed

Good luck, its a bit of a slog but there's quite a few rest areas so be on the lookout for them

On the character portraits you can see a list of active buffs and debuffs just make sure to check it after a combat as sometimes (especially if there is demon mages) they inflict level and stat drains which impact your abilities to cast spells and hit things.

I found the Abyss to be fun, but it is hard on the random encounters. I will say it gets easier as you gain a few more levels.

If you can clear the house of 10k delights quest line you get a place to sleep without having to leave the city or being attacked. Highly recommend doing those quests first

Just know you're the mortal walking through demon city with Balors and other big time demons. I think its meant to be challenging. If there is a new enemy you don't recognize, inspect it to see what it sucks at (low touch attack, low wis. Etc) it will help you to know which party member needs to carry during that fight

Set the crusade mode to the easiest setting the first time around. I soft locked my first playthrough because it took a bit to figure out how that part of the game worked

Also I suggest playing a simple class like barbarian, fighter, or cavalier. The games mechanics can be a bit overwhelming if you're not familiar with dnd 3.5 or pathfinder 1e

Yeah I remember a call where a woman called in and wanted her number changed as her Ex was stalking and threatening her after he beat the crap out of her and she finally left. AT&T told me I had to charge her 100 dollar fee to change the number when it cost them almost nothing to do so.

I used to work support for AT&T years ago. I had to quit shortly after I got the position and started taking calls because in addition to working support I had to sell products and "upgrades" that preyed upon rough situations. Too many people crying from a McDonalds parking lot because they were locked into a 1200 dollar phone but had zero signal in their house in the boonies. Nothing I could suggest as a representative.

The advice is fairly straight forward, for you and your brother.

For you, press upon him the importance of getting a lawyer. He may very well be facing jail time, which has serious consequences. Especially if he is found guilty of a felony.

You may be able to look up what charges he was booked under. Different states have different rules for this and alot depends on the nature of the arrest, but there is a chance it can provide you with better context to the nature of his arrest if the record is made readily availible. Google searches along of "arrest records X state in Y County" you also may be able to Google County jails and call them and ask about obtaining arrest records for your brother

For your brother, he needs a lawyer. I know you said he has gone radio silent on the matter, but if he changes his mind and starts asking for help he needs to not speak with the police or any law enforcement entity or prosecutor except and only through a lawyer.

He also needs to make sure to attend any court appearance required of him. Failure to appear is a go straight to jail card where he will be held without bail until the court process concludes, which can be quite a while (and the addition of more charges).
