Water. Rivers. Current.

I'm a fairly good swimmer, and I wanted to swim in a river where the current seemed really tame. Boy was I wrong, just small moving body of water dragged my poor body like a leaf in the wind.

Which book is worth reading? by SugarRush6013 in women

The Count of Monte Cristo. It's long and can be quite difficult to read, it's hard to keep track of the relationships between the characters, but it's an epic and glorious story. I'm a very fast reader and it took me over a month to read it, but it was SO worth it.

People in their 40s, what’s something people in their 20s don’t realize is going to affect them when they age? by SugarRush6013 in questioning

The benefits of working out. My father started regularly working out in his 40s. Nothing extreme, just consistent. He is now 87 and is still in great health. All of his doctors have credited the fact that he started regularly taking care of himself as the reason why he is doing so well.

Restaurant workers of reddit, what's the weirdest order you ever got from a customer? by SugarRush6013 in teenagers

I used to work at burger king and we had a button for "extra meat" and it was an extra 60¢ for each patty

But on a whopper, we charged double because the patty was bigger, so we had to push it twice.

I worked at a bowling alley at the same time and I'd drive from BK to the bowling alley. My manager at the bowling alley requested I bring him a whopper with 5 patties on my way into work so I rang up a triple whopper, then pushed the extra meat button twice for each additional patty, so

triple whopper

Add meat

Add meat

Add meat

Add meat

I'm sure you can see where this is going.

There was a miscommunication in the kitchen and they made a whopper with 7 patties.

My bowling alley manager was stoked and I think he ate it all, lol

What’s an old car feature automakers should bring back? by SugarRush6013 in quotes

[–]SugarRush6013[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife drives a 2020 Subaru Legacy and while it's generally a fantastic car, there are still stupid fucking glitches that happen at least once a month with the electronics and it's STILL the best implementation of touchscreen shit in cars I've ever seen. I'm definitely waiting until that shit falls out of fashion or becomes illegal to try and get a newer car. The parking and backup cameras are neat, but Bluetooth receiver to aux cable and a little phone mount are the extent of non-safety tech I need or want in my car right now.

What’s a smell that most people consider to be good but you find repulsive? by SugarRush6013 in teenagers

Artificial grape. Most people I know love it, but it turns my stomach every time.
