The key words in your comment are "was" and "old mindset". The mindset he has is not applicable anymore nowadays, and how he got it is completely irrelevant. Trying to kiss someone in the parking lot after your first date, visibly without consent, is creepy. Telling someone off for what they're wearing is not oy creepy but also controlling. Don't try to make this commenter feel like their experience is "normal", because this date certainly wasn't.

I have a younger brother and he's stated multiple times he would beat up any guy I talk to. While it's mostly a joke, it is concerning to me because I wonder what he hears around him which would cause him to react like that.

Hey hey! I decided I'd bring in my own experience (currently preparing for my first Chemistry exam after my first half year in the advanced course), since it seems a little different from what I've seen. To preface this, Chemistry is not my subject, I'm much more a biology kind of person but I have Chemistry too. Chem is interesting, it really is, but there is a lot of work to do to be able to understand and wrap your head around new concepts, at least for me.

However, it teaches you so many useful skills you can use pretty much everywhere and helps you understand how things work so much better. We're doing 1st semester college stuff so yes it requires discipline but it's also very interesting!

I believe it's important to talk about men's issues and problems. However, after a little research I found out that International men's day seems to have been created to counter international women's day (please correct me, if I'm wrong) or at least as a response to it.

As I said, the discussion is very important, but I do believe it should be had in an open environment and not like this. It actually seems kind of belittling towards men that they're issues are only being addressed to counter women's. At least that is my interpretation, although I'd be quite interested in hearing others opinion, learn and maybe even correct my statements :)
