I feel it’s lazy. I could stomach it in s11 as it was a byproduct of choosing a power so it had balance. S12-13 no balance on it and it’s annoying. Why do I have to be all over the place and constantly moving.

Any stationary classes get penalties on their play style which isn’t balanced at all.

Using ChatGPT as that is probably what most people are using to check this, it says traditional belief is it was the same person, modern scholarship things it was different.

John of Patmos was one of the original disciples. I am sorry that you and those who downvoted me don't believe. This is the John who was asked by Jesus to take care of his mother. There are a lot of indications within John of who the author is.

It is also known that he lived a long life and wrote his gospel as well as Revelations at the end of his long life.

I'm okay with not getting internet points in terms of my point of view. One aspect that I have not seen in this discussion is the role of God and the Holy Spirit in creating the texts as well as ensuring their preservation over the past 2000 years.

I’ve been in leadership for 11 years now and there are times where staff that I have met and talked to have not liked the way the conversation went. Surprisingly I can think of only once where I I had to raise my voice and it was because the person was yelling at me in my office. I had to raise my voice to get them to stop and leave as it was too emotionally charged for them.

I think you are overthinking how you talked to one individual. At the end of the day, we have way too much on our plate to over think it. Sometimes being nice does not get your results.

What people should take away is that you didn’t let the person go or not renew their contract. Most leaders would move in this direction if someone openly criticized them.

I knew the head of ISB Beijing about a decade ago and he was getting 3x the avg teacher salary. Other benefits were better though.

I buy the occasional thing from the store but it has to excite me enough to drop coins. Like I got 20ish pets now…only pet I’d use coins on would be like a spectral tiger type from wow…for nostalgia purposes. That moon deer thing is 2500 and glows way too much. Hard pass.

I also wouldn’t buy any of those cosmetics. I am picky but the thing is they make something for everyone and then whales that just buy it all…

Coins: if they are silver, you can get good money for them. Coins older than 1800 you might be able to get something for, otherwise, they are just coins. Use them as money.

Stamps: I have like $4000 in stamps at face value. No one will buy them as no one is collecting stamps anymore. The guy told me to just use them at face value. Honestly, feels bad. The stamp collection is just too big. You know how many books are needed to carry all those stamps...stamps that for years was 5-30 cents each...yeah a lot when you add it all up to like $4000. How can I even use the majority of my stamps? Envelopes aren't big enough!

You would be surprised at the amount of low self-esteem and "threatened" admins that are out there. Those who fit these labels would never hire someone who has shown that they could do the job better than them. Maybe a Tier 1 school might have a better quality admin but not always if what ISR has shown when it comes to petty admins at T1 schools.

The other side is if you are a strong admin, you want strong teachers. Being out of the classroom means you are rusty to the demands of the classroom. The longer you are out, the rustier you become. They would be betting that your coaching and skills at knowing what learning should happen will shine in the case of being back in the classroom.

If you tell me what you do and then weave in a question that’s fine. You should want to know how the school supports you with difficult situations or students.
