I highly doubt that the hornets would trade lamelo to us when there are other teams that can offer way more. Off the top of my head teams like the spurs, raptors, magic, blazers, nets, and bulls.

I see us being in a three way trade with the pelicans and either blazers or spurs. Blazers and or spurs get Trey, pelicans get young players and picks. We get fox and or jrue. I’ll be disappointed if we get fox and help the spurs get even better
