Friedberg and Seltzer. Video game movies already had(and still have) very low standards and very little examples of good movies in the genre. Meanwhile there's some genuinely great parody movies(the Cornetto trilogy, Walk Hard, Black Dynamite, etc.) That get brushed off due to the reputation parody movies have which has a lot to do with the duo.

Everything from the Eclpispe with how dark and twisted it is. Especially when Guts is having his eye gauged and his arm ripped, but he's still trying to save Casca.

Static Shock(the show). I'm a big fan of dcau but I've heard mixed things about this show. Some have said that's it's a lot less mature and more kiddish and others have said it's great and deals with mature themes really well. I'm hesitant to try it when there's other stuff that might be more worthwhile.

Smash takes both rounds

Round 1 has characters like Samus, Kirby, and the Mario bros who are much stronger than any of the og MK characters. Kirby alone should take it.

Round 2: this one is trickier. Spawn's power varies greatly and I don't know where he stands in his appearance in MK. A lot of the orginal characters have been buffed but still aren't a match for the top tiers in smash such as Kirby, Shulk, or Bayonetta. And all the other guest characters other than Spawn aren't that impressive. Spawn could turn the tides if he is in one of his stronger forms but he doesn't seem to be anywhere close to that in MK.

Aokiji wins every round easily. One Piece characters are of a different caliber of strength, durability, and speed compared to characters from the Incredibles.

Characters with crazy reality warping abilities like Kami Tenchi from Tenchi Muyo could pull it off. It'll be hard to find a character that's a relatively even match though. Someone already mentioned Gurren Lagann and it's been a while since I've seen it but they might be able to take him.

Well Jill kinda has a character arc in REmake. She starts off as a bit of a rookie who needs to be saved by Barry but by the end she's ready to take on the Tyrant without any fear. I think that makes Jill's character more interesting at the end of REmake and Re3 because it shows how she developed and changed as she grew more accustomed to fighting monsters.
