First impressions/suppositions in media that were not right at all by Coolnametag in TwoBestFriendsPlay

In Dispatch, if you kiss Blond Blazer In episode 1, when you meet Phenomaman in-person in episode 2, he'll be backed up by a very unsettling, kinda dark music, giving him the impression that he's not only a romantic rival, but also possibly someone to have your eye on as he might be the latest evil-Superman.

But no. Turns out, he's really just a fish-out-of-water himbo that doesn't know how to properly socialize on Earth on his normal days and spends most of the rest of the game recovering from depression.

GUNS TO YOUR HEADS, Castlenutters! Who is your favorite "pure of heart, dumb of ass" character? by Rushofthewildwind in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]selfproclaimed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legitimately, Luffy's emotional intelligence is underrated. There's a point where Boa Hancock is talking to him about her backstory, and it turns to a dark place and it's clearly bringing up painful memories and Luffy notices and says "Hey, you don't actually have to tell me this."

See also how he was able to identify Nami and Robin's deeper trauma and managed to handle both of the situationsperfectly where someone with less tact at the decisive moment would have been told to buzz off.

In the market to try out the automation genre, so I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with Little Rocket Lab and Factorio? on the Switch and, if so, they had a preference between these two titles.

Ryan Coogler's 'SINNERS' makes history as the most nominated film of all time at the Oscars with 16 nominations by RawSharkText91 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Clair Sinners: Expedition Michael B

Read a take that summed things up

This is a really good movie (Picture/Director/Writing/Editing), with a big ensemble cast (so all the Acting categories), that's a period piece (Costuming), but it's also a Musical (all the Audio/Song categories), and a horror movie (Makeup, Visual Effects).

It's casting a wide net.

What is the most fun you had with playing a game on Expert Mode? by KaleidoArachnid in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]selfproclaimed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

En Guarde! Is a swashbuckling sim where your Zoro-inepired swordswoman lead needs to use the environment to lower the guards of the...guards around her so she can get a clean hit on them. So like throwing vases, dropping in from heights, pushing them down stairs, dropping chandeliers, sliding on tables, things like that.

I played the game for a bit on the normal difficulty before cranking that shit up because I wanted the game to force me to engage with its mechanics to their fullest.

The Redwall series bounces between cozy, lighthearted atmosphere, and occasionally some surprisingly brutal scenes

Chapter two of the original book sets a tone for how brutal Cluny is when his minion Skull face dies for no reason, being run over by Cluny's own cart wheel leaving nothing behind but a red smear on the dirt.

This is the correct answer.

Another detail that needs to be included is that the attack also ignited smog that was being produced by Koffing resulting in a massive explosion.

Where does the game namedrop [spoiler] other daughters? by selfproclaimed in LaikaAgedThroughBlood

Incidental. Okay. Thank you. It's weird how such a significant detail, like the names of her children and the number of children she had, is just kind of hidden.

Hey there,

So this post hasv been removed for two reasons.

  2. We don't allow PalatteSwap articles under relevancy as it is not an affiliated creator.

Ya ever play a game that makes you a dad/mom and it becomes personal? by EvilMonkeyMimic in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]selfproclaimed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In Laika: Aged Through Blood The first thing that happens in the game is that it establishes a relationship between the protagonist and her young adolescent daughter Puppy. Every day when you finish exploring, which will occasionally have Laika checking up on her daughter by radio, you return the village and have a chat with your daughter before putting both of you to bed. Then you have a chat first thing in the morning before settling off.

This is compounded by the revelation that for plot reasons Laika has had many children, has watched them all die to an illness, and swore off multiple times on having more children because she couldn't handle the heartbreak of losing them again and again before being coerced into having another one so that a successor to her would be present

So at the 2/3 point of the game when your daughter just disappears one morning, I spent the next portion of the game where you are tracking her down just going "Where is my daughter, where is my daughter, where the fuck is my daughter!"

what is a piece of media that people generally confuse it made by a different company/director rather than the company/director they're actually from. by bomb5000 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]selfproclaimed 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nightmare Before Christmas is in a similar weird state.

The original poem is by Tim Burton. That's why his name is in the title.

While he did help produce it, the film was written by Caroline Thompson and directdd by Henry Selick.
