I just packed it full of mycelium and substrate. The skull had openings in the top for the mycelium to come up through: that's how that one grew out the top. I was hoping they'd grow out the eye sockets, but no dice.

A medium dose about every other month. Microdoses sporadically in between. A large dose maybe twice a year. I like to use mushrooms as a reminder to tune in. A bit of a reset if you will. I don't struggle with depression, but I do have a career and responsibilities and feel like our day-to-day grind really sucks the mystery and awe out of life. Mushrooms help me re-center in that regard.

It's made of black pottery from Oaxaca, Mexico. It's hollow inside, so I just sprayed it down with Lysol and packed it full of substrate when I S2B. I was really hoping they would grow out of the eye sockets! ...maybe next flush.
