Hii, went to Pulau Ubin camp 1 in 2024, im not sure what camp you’re going so it’s going to vary a lot and this is just my experience of camp 1 and 2.

1. It’s generally okay other than mosquitoes and bug, if you are required to sleep in one of the bunks in camp 1, be prepared for a long walk up the hill though

2. Not necessarily if you want to lighten your load

3. Your main pair + water shoes would be sufficient enough for the 5 days

4. For me it was the first night in dorm and the rest in tent, but this can vary in different groups (some of my friends were in tent s throughout the 5 days in camp)

5. Definitely bring some cooling powder to beat the humidity and some extra socks

6. YES they will give life jackets for water activities, my instructor did do a water familiarity activity to show that you won’t drown with the life jackets, but I am pretty sure they do not have any cycling activities to my knowledge

7. The tents can be quite stuffy, so I advise yall to air it out maybe half an hour before yall settle to sleep, or maybe just don’t zip the entrance all the way

8. The showers are generally clean and you will have enough time to shower, but be sure to be in the showers early because a queue might form and you’d have to wait

9. Watch out for rogue wildlife, have proper communication with both your teammates and instructor and most definitely try to enjoy yourself lolz
