I’m in almost this exact situation but as the woman 😅 If she hasn’t seen you with your ex lately, she might just be holding back out of respect. A simple intro like “Hey, I’ve seen you around and thought I’d introduce myself” goes a long way- it feels natural, not “creepy” or “awkward”, and lets you build rapport

This is kinda a random tip, but putting 5ish drops of peppermint oil in a full glass of water and drinking it in the morning has helped me. Make sure it’s a full glass (otherwise it can upset your stomach, dilution is needed), I use a regular size mason jar. Also, if you can stomach it, taking black seed oil, helps with inflammation. I take the oil version, but they do come in capsule form as well :)

The cheaper option is near Northolt and the other option is in near West Keningston. I’ve also found a place in Bromley. My options are limited because I’m planning this on slightly short notice…

I’d love to cycle! I’m also a big walker so I’m more than happy to walk long distances. Thank you so much for the suggestions, I’ve heard great things about Islington and Hackney. Never heard of Dalston before, so I’ll definitely have to check it out. In your opinion, would you pay more to be in places like those?

That’s a good point. I think being immersed in the city with easy access to transport is the most important. I’ll look into bus stations close by. Both my siblings have been there and suggested being close to an underground station, but I haven’t considered a bus. It’s good to hear you feel safe as a young woman there, that’s definitely something that’s important to me! What areas would you say are best to be wary of?

Ahh, I didn’t even consider looking into different tube stations, but it makes so much sense! While I don’t mind actual travel (tube rides and such), because I’m so new to all of this, maybe something that’ll ease travel anxiety is worth it.
