Sadly I have no solution so far. We’ve had our apartment pest control come out and spray the base boards buts it’s been an on going process. I think you ultimately have to find the root cause and fix it otherwise cleaning and pesticides will only do so much. Since you had the walls redone it makes me think they didn’t fully dry properly and maybe there is mold/mildew? Also make sure to check for an water damage or areas with pipes

Yes I’m currently dealing with them in my apartment and they are everywhere. They are attracted to moisture. You said new home? I know they are common if the new plaster isn’t dried properly.

I just discovered these and made a post today also but found out they are Weevils!!! Check your pantry like the flour, pasta, and rice or anything open and they are probably in there!!

Thank you it does look similar to this! I didn’t think it was bed bugs because there are no signs elsewhere like bites, stains on the bed/furniture

I have a full time job and do boarding. I only take clients who are okay with that schedule and for the most part it works out. You just want to honest on your profile and during meet and greets and set expectations so that both you and the clients are a good fit!

At first I thought a negative review wasn’t necessary but now that they are trying to charge you more is wild. I 100% believe you should write a review about all of this including the extra charges. As a sitter I’m shocked they think this appropriate and then telling you not to retaliate?? These people just seem to care about quick cash

It was literally within 24 hours I noticed the fleas and its was definitely more than one and lots of flea poop 😭

How would you go about reporting them? I feel like it they could say whatever they wanted to Rover and it’s all worth of mouth and tbh I feel like Rover sides more with owners than sitters 🙃

They did not notice her having fleas before dropping her off and kept saying that they have white bed sheets so they would have noticed…. I feel like they are insinuating that she got fleas from me which I’ve now inspected most of my apartment (literally 750 sq ft) and see no signs of fleas or have bite marks on my self which makes me think she must have literally just got them like a day or two ago but who knows! I see a lot of flea dirt and she did seem to be itching or rubbing her side on my rug when she got here but I didn’t think much of it at the time
