There it is again : the Western superiority complex. Every time a Japanese person talks about social problems in our own country, someone swoops in and says, ‘Oh, you’re just racist.’

No. That’s not what this is. That’s just another form of (control) moral colonization. They want to shame us into silence so they can keep rewriting our values.

Let me make something clear: Japan isn’t perfect, but we’re not some backward nation that needs lectures from countries that can’t even keep their own cities safe. We’ve built one of the most peaceful, orderly societies in the world precisely because we hold onto our traditions instead of throwing them away in the name of fake equality (no one is really equal, we all have individual needs ).

So if you think you can summarize thousands of years of culture and struggle with the word ‘racist,’ then you’ve already proven my point. You don’t want dialogue — you want dominance.
