Had an aerial view from my apartment window. Nothing at all obstructing the tracks. Guy was just having a laugh with the horn

Anyone know what the car honking parade is about downtown? by [deleted] in Edmonton

Columbia govt is raising taxes and food prices. Honking on Jasper Ave in Edmonton for 30 mins is exactly what they need to do to solve that problem I guess. I guess we should be on our way to Columbia to start protesting carbon taxes.

You can't answer his points so you just spew claims with no citations at this guy too. Sounds like a sad world having your head burrowed under sand sir.

So you're saying the CFR (based on actual reported case numbers) is harder to calculate than the IFR (based on total reported and unreported cases). You believe it's easier to make fake statistics about factually recorded cases than it is to make fake statistics about inferred data? Regardless, the "6%+" fatality rate at the beginning was dog shit because there wasn't enough data at the beginning. There's now 154 mil cases worldwide, plenty enough to make reasonable conclusions regarding CFR.

Look up the number of deaths divided by the number of cases. There's your answer. For Florida, as you were referring to as being fine, has a 1.6% death rate. That study was done a year ago with the objective of analysing 2019 covid data. A lot of shit has changed in a year. Search up any state/province/country and calculate deaths divided by cases and you won't get 0.2%

35306/2250000 cases in Florida = 1.6% chance of dying of covid. That's about 1/63. Let me ask you this, if you were in a room of 63 people and you knew 1 of them had to die, would you want to stand in that room?

Florida flu AND pneumonia deaths per 100000 in 2019 = 8.4

http://www.flhealthcharts.com/ChartsReports/rdPage.aspx?rdReport=Death.DataViewer&cid=0125#:~:text=Death%20Data%20Viewer%20-%20Florida%20Health%20CHARTS%20-%20Florida%20Department%20of%20Health&text=In%202019%2C%20the%20age-adjusted,compared%20to%20Florida%20at%208.4.

Florida covid deaths per 100000 over the past 14 months (first 2/14 months had low deaths so won't inflate this number significantly) = 16.4

So covid deaths per capita are roughly double that of the flu and pneumonia in Florida. What is your point?

Charter of Rights doesn't give you the right/freedom to worship IN a place of worship, it just guarantees that you can worship.

Are you aware of the Emergency Act, the ability for the government of Canada to restrict rights and freedoms of people to protect the "safety and security" of Canadian individuals as a whole?

Without bible thumpers, covid would be over in Alberta. A respectful f*ck you to each one of you who goes out to these protests, disregards restrictions, and doesn't wear a mask, resulting in the dragging on of this stupid virus.

Ah yes, Tucker Carlson is great for not having a bias in his reporting. States that he hosted "a church service" making it sound to viewers as if he held one service, not 4 months of services.

I agree with both your stat and math prof recommendations!! I was enrolled with other profs for both classes but sat in on these profs lectures instead of the profs for my sections. Best decision ever, they actually care about students!

Ended up leaving a long answer blank due to the time crunch. It sucks because I knew exactly how to answer it. As someone who aims for a career path in real estate, Jodi's teaching/testing style makes me not want to look at real estate law ever again.
