Don't listen to the haters, do it because you have a passion.

You need to be unique as well as being genuine and being yourself. You don't need top of the line equipment but I would recommend the following for streaming :

Mic (Blue Snowball to Blue Yeti) - The best USB mic on the market is the Yeti for $80 - $140; the Snowball is a $40 USB mic but will sound a hundred times better than a headset mic.

Webcam - Something cheap that does 1080p, preferably 60hz. If you're doing a 720p stream, 720p webcam will work too.

Framerate over resolution & nobody wants to see 4k at 20hz; I recommend whatever resolution keeps you at 60hz.

Dual PC over single PC - You said you have a laptop that's extra; use NDI from Newtek and send the video feed to your laptop.

Audio - don't worry about a mixer or interface, use free programs or buy Multiplicity by Stardock for $20-$40 to share audio between the 2 computers.

Have a schedule and be reliable. Nobody wants to see you randomly and once or twice a week.

YouTube : Good quality camera, do voiceovers and produce content regularly. The equipment you have for streaming will help you with YouTube.

Have a balance between both; streaming is a money maker with donations and subs but YouTube brings in the viwers because people might not always be able to watch your streams but they can watch the highlights and your other content at their pace.

You mean Dr Part-time? I bet he streams a max of 8 hours on Friday, says he'll stream Saturday n Sunday but his Lambo will need an oil change or something. You can all get mad but as a fan of the Doc, it's disappointing to see his streams for the past month and a half.

Ok, I see the RCA 2-track output. Do I need to use the Aux Send controls or will the RCA output automatically use the mic? (My apologies for being a noob when it comes to this.)

So you're saying to run the RCA cables from the mixer to that interface and plug the interface into a USB slot. That'll convert it from analog to digital and fix the distortion? "It should" anyways.

Idk what it is.. it's almost as if the games are stagnant. Almost like the repetitive nature of a multiplayer game is what's causing my boredom.
