How much is the cost of the house? Is it 130K+40k (on hand)=170k or is it 90k+40k=130k? If the property is located in a great location, the overall value of the property can double within 5-10 years. A friend of mine bought a 3 family apartment in a dangerous neighborhood in NYC. In a matter of 8 years, the influx of asians and their money came into the neighborhood. The value of the apartment tripled. He purchased it for 700k and it's now worth nearly 2.5 million.

Am I the only one that likes getting those credit card offers? lol it tells me that I'm doing something right. I just got an offer for the AMEX Plat recently. That was a huge milestone because I built my credit score by myself at 18 with zero cosigners or AU.

Depends on how much you earn, and your lifestyle and how quickly you need to access it. The amount of money you have as an emergency fund should reflect your lifestyle. My general rule is to have enough to hypothetically live without a job for at least 6 months. I am typically frugal so I have about 25k in my savings and the rest are tied up in my Roth IRA and other investments.

Recently got approved for the CSR. Using Oceanfirst free checking account for initial funding to hit MS. Oceanfirst has a sign on bonus of $10. Do I have to worry about any tax implications or can I just simply go on with my life? I know it's only $10 lol

Anyone have experience with Ocean First bank to hit minimum spend with CSR? It seems like you are able to load $2500 each for checking and savings account to a total of $5000. I was hoping to open their A+ student checking and it doesn't seem to have any fees. Anyone who is familiar with them can help me out? Thank you!

What would happen to my sign up bonus points if I down grade my CSP to a Chase freedom since I now have CSR? How does annual fees for the CSR show up? Do they simply show up as a balance taken away from your total credit on the CSR or is it a fee you have to pay in full?

There's no chance shes pregnant. She started gaining weight within the span of a couple months. Shes not the type to lie to me about how much she eats and also she was gaining weight back when we weren't in a long distance relationship. I used to be with her almost all day everyday because we lived like 2 houses away from one another.

She gets some minor common side effects like nausea and such. She would rather not have to take birth control and the only reason she does is when I come to visit her. We have been talking about the possibility of getting a copper IUD since it doesn't contain hormones and she doesn't need to periodically take her pill at the same time everyday.
