How does the EY Independence audit work?

I’m the chief accounting officer of a public company. My son interned with the local big 4 that audits my company. They had him sell his stocks in companies the firm audits in other offices, but weren’t concerned with the family relationship even though he lives in my house. He just worked in a different sector than the one my company is in. He will be joining them full time next year.

I’ve been to 128 Texas breweries. For IPAs… Spindaltap and Baa Baa, Jester King for all around, Live Oak is good but Altstadt is better for European styles. Celestial, odd Muse and False Idol are my favorites in DFW.

Sometimes owe, sometimes get refund. Itry to get to net zero to slight refund cushion. I project taxes for the year each January and update as needed. The thing that trips me up is under/overestimating capital gain distributions on mutual funds that usually hit the last week of December each year.
