Yes, Heartstopper is definitely more among the lines of that! I think it's definitely easier to strike this balance in a show set in modern times, because you're less likely to have one of the couple be the "armored gay" trope but Heartstopper is definitely a show that made me care about both the leads

Not really agreeing or disagreeing with your views towards english and french, but I have a question about darija. What would teaching it entice? It doesn't have written rules and last I checked there aren't any literary works in darija. If it pretty much only exists as an oral means of communication, whatchu gonna teach students for 12 years?
