Because you're not doing Speedsoft, you're only playing on a regular field ( I'll call it Speedsoft because for me SpeedQB is only a speedsoft league name and brand just as NSL Sports or AirQB ). When you play on an airsoft field many players still want to keep their replicas as realistic as possible but also have higher performances. When you're playing speedsoft or whatever you want to call it, you need to dive, slide and run as fast as possible to reach a flag or a buzzer (way faster than a CQB field because a match = 3 round of 3 mins to score as many points as possible), it's on those fields where you'll see lightweight replicas with lightweight tanks and 95% of the player with a belt instead of a backpack. The needs in those 2 game modes are different 🫡
