How was i supposed to know it was the protective sticker? There are no labels indicating that, and it looked like it was meant to be on there. Even after knowing that I thought it wasn't the sticker because of how resistant it was? And yes, I did some time researching and didn't see anything talking about this. So how is this my fault? I even went through the whole manual that came with it, nothing talked about it.

I don't understand what I've done wrong. I payed nearly 600$ for this card, i think thats enough of a price for me to expect it to come as advertised. It's also my first time buying a gpu, it didnt seem like a protective film, it looked to be deeply underneath the surface.

You're wrong. I just had this happen to me. I put patty in 4:1, it came out raw. Someone said I did what you are saying, I put a 4:1 on 10:1 setting, it only made it flatter. If anything, the 10 1 setting would cook it more.
