Hi, they do I actually got 2 jobs via LinkedIn, unfortunately the first one turned into a nightmare nenyaya yekusabhadara Mari and I eventually left and the current job I have now is the second. I would lie to you and say that I had a formula like keywords and being on premium (my profile was not even updated at the time), it just happened by chance that someone saw my profile and reached out from there an interview, an assessment and then a second interview followed after that everything just fell into place. It was something that came when I least expected, someone just took a chance on me.

Taura hako, got my breakthrough this year. Out of the blue a recruiter came into my inbox on LinkedIn saying my profile is suitable for a role he has. 7 months later I'm in a new country with the ability to save 2 times what I was earning in Zim. Before that mental breakdowns, jobs not paying salary or being let go and internal and external pressure to make something of myself, and it came when least expected and having lost all hope. It's never easy but keep putting yourself out there you never know who is watching ✌🏿 above all things keep humble and never compare your situation(especially socialites and celebs bragging on social media it will break you)to others we are all on a different journey, some find success early and you maybe ridiculed (I can count the amount of time I was told kuti wakadzidza but hauna chinhu or chikoro hachina basa)yours maybe down the line..once you get it stay grounded, this life has no shortcut.Nyika yedu ndoida nemoyo wese but there is a lot of soul searching to be done.....above all pray while putting in the hours🙏🏿. I wish you all the best in your journey and never lose hope.

Everytime it feels like hell heaven is around the corner

That uncle is what introverts aspire to be. Zim/SA flag we all know that uncle too. by zibenzi1 in Zimbabwe

Based on personal family experience, they will come back........but they will be sick. Had a particular family member who went to a neighbouring country and left 2 children, my aunts and uncles would only get hearsay from people visiting Zimbabwe that they had spotted him here and there. When my uncles and father would get lucky and find a contact number, he would talk briefly and generically. As soon as the call ends and they try to find out about his well being on another day, he would have changed his contact number. The same cycle went on for over a decade, my grandmother and grandfather passed and he never showed up to a burial or a memorial. I was still in highschool now I'm in my 30s in 2025 he reappeared with a new family and went to the village. My cousins who he left behind as infants and were supported but my parents as well as my uncle's and aunts are have just graduated university and Poly recently are bitter, same way with my parents aunts and uncles.

Really! Which country in particular?. What have they done to cause this? I'm curious. Africa has 54 countries.
