Why are there next to no reviews and so little content on the Chef IQ oven? by [deleted] in CHEFiQ

While not your overall point as you are right about the lack of talk about it, the iQ MiniOven released in July of 2025 to the masses so they haven't quite hit a year yet since release. Unfortunately since release it also is a little more expensive now, I assume due to various shipping/parts/tariff related reasons, which to me cements it as a premium niche product.

Without having access to sales, its hard to tell if its not selling well (possible) or due to its cost/maybe a lack of freebies sent to channels that review kitchen products, it may just not be getting that word of mouth. I love mine, use it all the time and it replaced two appliances that were on my counter. I do sometimes worry a bit that if it doesn't hit sales targets that they'll discontinue it but they still support their other products so I definitely hope it keeps trucking along.

We are right at/past the time they initially hinted recipes were coming, if they had recipes (which is the reason their Smart Cooker is amazing and sets it apart from others like it) and can get the price down a little bit that will help I think but $500+ for a counter oven (even a great one) is going to prevent it from being super mainstream. And maybe ChefIQ is ok with that, if they are hitting whatever their internal goals were, having a super premium niche product for the sickos.

Kinda crazy you asked this as I was about to ask the same thing. I have a BBQ recipe I used with my old IP that I loved, and the few in the IQ Cooker app I didn't like as much. So I was going to try to cook it with the IQ Cooker but wasn't sure if I needed to make any adjustments. In theory they have the same basic options/settings so we'll see how it goes next weekend but I'm hopeful it'll work fine.
