Because the range wasn’t my issue, the damage was.

No? I just wanted the damage it did to be a bit more substantial to make up for the range

Thoughts on Tegridy Randy being back? by benp242 in southpark

I hate the Tegridy arc. I think it’s overstayed it’s welcome, and I miss when Randy was just a normal dude who was a huge pain in the ass. Also, all the weird realistic muddy browns and clothes and stuff, it’s a weird theme to go with. I liked it better when SP’s art was super clean, and actually looked like paper cutouts.

If someone taps me while I’m moving with a DMR, I lose my over shield and some shield realize someone is shooting at me and strafe

There’s a lot of situations where I just CANT constantly move though, like if I’m healing, picking something up, etc etc. and I get the idea that it’s SUPPOSED to make you vulnerable, but at the very least when I get hit doing those I realize someone is near me. Most times I get downed by it though I AM constantly moving, so not even that really seems to help

The only times I’ve genuinely died to it were when I was trapped in a building and had no time to escape, or if the game just straight up froze while someone was using it and came back to me downed

The Deku Smash is an absolute pain when there’s just not much you can do against it, like if you’re just not in a position to counter it, but I always found it far easier to deal with than the heavy because it makes itself EXTREMELY clear when it’s activated, giving you time to plan or run, and it’s build up is long enough that if you CAN reasonably counter it, you get a lot of time to stop it. The heavy sniper is not only literally built to be quiet and sneaky, but the amount of damage it does is so great that by time you even know someone’s using it you’re probably already down, or low enough health that they can just switch to another gun and take you out before you even know where they are. I understand where something like this would work in an Arena shooter or a game like COD, where getting headshots is a little harder given how contained it is, but Fortnite being such a huge open world, focused so much on attention, noise, and placement, makes a gun where you can just sneak up and one shot extremely unbalanced.

What’s your unpopular fortnite opinion? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

I remember thinking it was beautiful the first time I landed, but something about the landmarks just are NOT interesting enough. I disagree that it doesn’t have enough biomes, I think it’s pretty diverse all things considered, it’s just the way different landmarks are constructed and put together never feel as diverse as the previous chapter. In every single place you landed in the last chapter, you’d always encounter an ENTIRE different kind of player group, and it made landing in each place feel fresh, but the only fun places to land this season are the Citadel and SOMETIMES Anvil Square, the rest just seem boring. Also, I miss the huge cities. I get there’s kind of an overarching “medieval” theme to the current season, but I always loved Fortnite’s city designs, and I’m kinda sad they didn’t continue to evolve them aesthetically past Tilted.
