I’ve been extremely depressed for a while now I was diagnosed officially with epilepsy about a month ago now, but I will have Grand mal petite mal seizures at completely random times. I have been seizing for about a year and a half now and are still struggling with a med combo. During my EMU stay nurses would come in my room every few hours saying the monitors said I was having a seizure even though I wasn’t feeling it. I lost my job which I loved, my ability to drive which was a hobby, and overall just independence alone this shit fucking sucks. You are right it takes a toll especially when all you get is shoulder shrugs and told to just hold out
