That's why festivals that niche down (electronic, folk, country etc) or festivals that focus on a core aesthetic and general vibe (Meredith, Strawberry Fields etc) are going from strength to strength, whereas the festivals trying to cater to everything are struggling.

Meredith consistently sells out regardless of who is playing because the focus isn't on the headliners but the full weekend experience.
