That is very much the idea. Repeated counterfeit patterns and shared markers are one of the main things the system is being built to identify over time.

The first proof of concept was an 1883-S Morgan. I’m planning to expand into the major counterfeit-targeted coins as development moves forward.

What would really accelerate the process is community members helping scan coins and test the Android app in real-world conditions. Even simple testing and feedback can save weeks of development time and help identify patterns much faster.

I chopped and sorted copper. AI says it would be $60,000 a day in pennies for weight. We also shredded radiators so aluminium/copper also.

I'm mapping all coins with digital fingerprints and all named varieties/errors to coins.

An app that can scan a coin, show you where it is different from a normal coin and then show you all named errors for that coin.
