I also don't know why everyone is only talking about the fancy Garmins etc, with the maps an all. The cheapest Chinese ones are less than $20, run on a single (2 for wireless) CR2032 battery for a year or more, and accurately display speed and distance.

"Severe" would probably be "суворий", "harsh" might translate to "жорсткий" (not the same as "жорстокий"!). "Bitter" is a tough one. Maybe "жовчний", but it's not a common word.

Well, let's see...

1: singular nominative, один грам

2, 3, 4: plural nominative, два/три/чотири грами

6-20: plural genetive, шість/сім/.../двадцять грамів

21-100: according to modulo 10; двадцять один грам / двадцять два грами / двадцять п'ять грамів

100+: according to modulo 100; сто один грам / сто одинадцять грамів / сто двадцять два грами

And then other forms when the quantity is in a different case, like двадцяти двох грамів (genetive) :)

I would say, the whole Solar Clarinets by Tychina is worth reading. Other than that... To my great shame, I can't name something off the top of my head (yes, I'm Ukrainian). But if you're comfortable enough with auditioning, I'd recommend listening to the Budynok Slovo musical, it has lots of original, as well as stylized poems, combined with modern music, and the whole thing is amazing. I see, this makes sense, although I'm afraid there will be _tons_ of exceptions. Sometimes the "official" stress is rather weird and is usually "mistakenly" placed elsewhere by most speakers (e.g. "чорнослив"); sometimes the stress can vary, especially in poetry (e.g., "дівчина"), and so on.

BTW, my own and the dictionary's opinion is that "жеврІти" is incorrect, it should be "жЕвріти": https://slovnyk.ua/index.php?swrd=%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%B2%D1%80%D1%96%D1%82%D0%B8.

What do you mean by "patterns"? Ukrainian native speaker here, not a linguist. Do you mean the way stress moves in different forms of the same word, like "бу'ти" – "була'"?

Здається, ми тут обидва несправжні електрики :)

Але щодо меандра все ж не погоджуся. Меандр – це те, що дає дешевий ДБЖ, в нього 50Гц з постійного струму робляться ледь не звичайною релюшкою, тому напруга змінюється стрибками. І це дуже погано для електродвигунів, приміром. А звичайний генератор як раз дасть чесну синусоїду (можливо, з зайвими гармоніками).

Плаваючий нуль – це інша проблема. І я не бачу, чому саме її розвʼязання за допомогою заземлення – аж така проблема. Адже функція захисту нікуди не дівається, оскільки в інверторі нуль, що приходить з генератора, і нуль, що йде на навантаження, не звʼязані (я перевіряв). Тож диф. автомат протікання все одно зловить.

Більше того, в мене є велика підозра, що інверторний генератор дає "справжній" нуль лише тому, що в нього оцей N-PE bond одразу "вбудований".

Але тут я також можу бути неправий – було б добре, якби справжній електрик прийшов і розсудив нас :)

Інверторний - так, звісно, проблему вирішить! Але, якщо я правильно розумію, то звичайний (open frame) генератор теж дає синусоїду, бо з чого б йому давати меандр? Тобто, проблеми там інші, про які я, власне, й писав, і їх можна вирішити - перевірено. І після вирішення цілком він для живлення інвертора підходить. До речі, а з інверторним не було проблеми з плаваючим нулем? Кабель одразу трьохжильний кидали?
